About the IPPI Card
The IPPI Card serves as a standardized reference to compare all national paragliding programs worldwide. For pilots flying outside their familiar or local areas, this card provides quick and clear proof of their flying experience.
Important: The IPPI Card is only valid when presented together with a current national license or rating card.
You can request the IPPI Card after successfully completing the Club Pilot Course and obtaining your national License. Please note that fees for these licenses are not included in the course price.
Does the course include instructional tandem flights?
Yes, instructional tandem flights are included. They are one of the best ways to learn how to fly, practice maneuvers, approaches, and gain hands-on experience with guidance from your instructor in real flight conditions.
Am I covered by the school´s insurance?
Yes, we provide civil liability and accident insurance.
However, we recommend that you also have your own travel accident insurance with full rescue and repatriation coverage.
Health and Physical Requirements
Before starting the course, it is advisable to consult your doctor if you have any medical concerns. While a formal medical exam is not required to join our paragliding course, being in good overall health is important for your safety and enjoyment.
Age is not the primary factor when learning to paraglide; instead, your physical fitness, general health, and mental condition are what really matter.
Please note: The maximum allowed weight for students is 110 kg.
You should be prepared to stay active and have good coordination, as takeoff and landing involve running a short distance while carrying paragliding equipment weighing approximately 15 kilograms.
