Paragliding Cross Country Course in Spain
This XC course in Andalusia is designed for pilots who want to take full advantage of the incredible flying conditions in southern Spain and improve their cross-country and thermal flying skills.
It’s ideal for:

- Pilots with little or no XC experience who want to learn how to fly longer distances with the support of instructors and expert coaching.

Every day includes a theoretical session, weather-based flight planning, and a post-flight review to maximize learning and performance.

Objective
The main goal is to help you achieve longer, more confident XC flights while building a solid foundation in thermal flying, route planning, safety, and active piloting. We also promote a supportive environment where you can grow alongside other pilots, sharing experiences and pushing your limits together.
Content
This course includes both theoretical and in-flight training with a focus on:
- Meteorology and flight planning.
Thermal flying techniques and apps for XC pilots. - Takeoffs and landings in thermal conditions.
Safety, active piloting, and XC-specific maneuvers. - Equipment setup and progression strategies.
- Psychology of XC flying: motivation, focus, and decision-making.
We tailor the training to your level

- For experienced XC pilots, we provide route support, personalized flight tracking, and insider knowledge of the region.
Accommodation (Optional)
If you choose the accommodation option, you’ll stay in a comfortable room in Teba, Málaga, a picturesque Spanish village close to the flying areas. The house is fully equipped with all the essentials—kitchen, fridge, washing machine, towels, garden, and more. You only need to bring your clothes.
Free airport transfer from Malaga Airport is included when you book with accommodation.

Requirements
Minimum 40 hours of flight time and ability to fly solo
Valid paragliding license and insurance
Full paragliding equipment including reserve parachute
2m radio, variometer with GPS, and smartphone with data
Basic knowledge of English or Spanish
Minimum group: 3 pilots
Maximum group: 6 pilots
Airport Transfer
Round-trip transfer from Málaga Airport is included when booking with accommodation.
